The wonderful postal stickers that I bought at Ad Hoc's "Going Postal" exhibit, along with the deck of graffiti cards I discovered at Alphabeta last year, came in handy! As the subject of this year's "Visual Slang" is characters, Tara, along with Aaron, designed a cool installation that included both the stickers and cards.

Chris Cortes in "Visual Slang 2009"
To quote Tara Murray, my lovely intern, "Chris never ceases to amaze us." I'm continually blown away by Chris's skills. This amazing canvas will be featured in "Visual Slang 2009" opening this Thursday, the 25th, at the Abrons Arts Center, 466 Grand Street, 6-8pm.

SoHo Street Art
It had been about two months since I last checked out 11 Spring Street. 'walked over there from the LES with Tara earlier this evening, and discovered a few interesting paste-ups signed "Tian."
