I had received an email early last week from L'Atlas that he was in town for a solo exhibit @ gallery nine5 on Spring Street. I had seen his work this past summer in Paris. Though I never got to meet him, I went with my intern to the exhibit on Friday. 'found it quite mesmerizing. But I would have loved to see some of his work on the surrounding streets. The exhibit continues through Nov. 6th @ 24 Spring Street. 'would have loved, too, to take some photos of it, but that was against the gallery's policy. (A policy -- I think -- all galleries should rethink these days.)
