I discovered this book at MoMA's book shop yesterday, and as it looked enticing and was inexpensive, I picked it up. 'spent a few hours reading it today, and I loved it. The author, Johannes Stahl, is quite knowledgeable about both old school graffiti and contemporary street art. The photos are fabulous, as well.

MBW Does Michael Jackson
It seems that MBW seems to be releasing on the average of a print a day. A bit overkill. Some work for me; others don't. This one does!
East Village Installation
'came across this late at night as I was getting ready to return uptown. So stunning -- I was tempted to take it home with me. Of course, I didn't!
Space Invader @ Jonathan LeVine
My daughter, Sara, immediately recognized this 400 Rubik cube-piece as "Abbey Road." It took me a few minutes! Though Invader's works on exhibit were exquisite, they didn't work for me the way they do on the street. They work best there.
WK Interact @ Jonathan LeVine
'went over to the Jonathan LeVine Gallery earlier this evening to check out the current exhibit featuring WK Interact and Invader. To promote his newly-released book, WK signed copies and spoke about his work, focusing on his latest series inspired by the film "Twelve Angry Men."
