I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but I'm loving everything about this piece.

I'm loving the indigenous influence on some of Vancouver's graffiti characters. This is a favorite.

In Vancouver
This was the first bit of "street art" I spotted after we crossed into Canada. It is in the SoMa district of Vancouver.

In Portland there's Skam lurking out from everywhere! The endless variations of his character(s) are tons of fun!

In Seattle
'loved watching "Bald Man Watching" getting his humungous stickers/paste-ups up in Seattle during daylight -- with police cars passing by!

from Post-It V @ Giant Robot NY
By chance, I passed by Giant Robot on East 9th St. yesterday evening while this Post-It exhibit was being installed. There must have been over 100 artists represented. Each piece is intriguing. 'kind of what I'd like to see on stickers!

Of all the installations I've seen across from the Woodward Gallery, this may be my favorite. I will have to return!

That Door on Rivington Street/What's Next?
it seems as though that door on Rivington Street -- where I first discovered Swoon -- is changing more rapidly than ever! Each time I've passed by within the past two months, a different image greets me. I'm not sure what's going on here, as it's getting too messy to appreciate anything!

In Lima, Peru
Faber explained to me that as ephemeral as street art is, it is even more so in Lima! We were happy that this piece was still in place and largely intact. This photo just captures a section of a huge, impressive figure created by Faber.
Bronik and Faber
In this segment from a much larger mural, I´m loving the juxtaposition between Bronik´s imposing character and Faber´s ethereal cyclist.
In Lima, Peru
The first mural I visited in Peru is the creation of Entes, Pésimo and the members of the 93 crew. It´s a brilliant fusion of distinct sensibilities all working together.
