After leaving Hamilton Fish today, I decided to walk across Houston. 'glad I did! 'came upon the latest mural to hit the famed spot. I didn't immediately recognize the artist, and I guess I haven't been following the latest "street art" news closely enough. 'turns out it's the legendary Kenny Scharf!

Gaia & Dalek in Street/Studio 2.0 @ the Montserrat House

Faile @ Perry Rubenstein
I stopped by the Perry Rubenstein Gallery on my way home to check out the Faile exhibit, "Bedtime Stories." It's brilliant! This is a small fragment from a huge installation made up of Faile images on blocks. It's a mesmerizing, vibrant collage. 'will return! It continues through 12.23 @ 527 W. 23rd St.

"From Lima to New York" In Washington Heights
I was quite surprised to come upon this in Washington Heights this afternoon. I'd met Pesimo in Peru a few months back. I love having this piece of Lima here. (Also in this mural are pieces by Ket and Jade.)
