Occupy Walls & Cash4 in Brooklyn
As we were walking along Broadway yesterday from East New York to Williamsburg, Lenny was the first to notice this one. 'love it, but it was getting dark and a bit hard to capture.

Katsu + in Williamsburg
Walking on some of the blocks we rarely hit in Williamsburg, we came upon some great surprises -- including this!

Swoon in Bushwick
I love this close-up that Dani captured of this stunning Swoon piece. We were thrilled to discover this in Bushwick last week on a block we've seldom walked on. It's obviously been up for quite a while.

Os Gemeos in Coney Island
It had been some time since I'd been to Coney Island. I went by this afternoon to check out some of the newer walls I had been meaning to visit all summer (Veng, UnderOver, et al). But I revisited, of course, the huge Os Gemeos mural. I marveled again at the brilliant details -- even if they are a bit faded.

LMNOP in Astoria
I had seen this character on a wall in Williamsburg last week and instantly loved it. We couldn't, though, track down the artist. Luckily, Tara discovered it in Astoria today with the name LMNOP. Very cool!

A Door in Williamsburg
We found some of the coolest doors today in the south side of Williamsburg. This one has got it all: tags, stickers and paste-ups.

In Williamsburg
We came upon this wall in Williamsburg yesterday. 'cool to see a piece dedicated to Sure, RIP.

In Chinatown
I finally got around to checking out Lenny's photos from June. Lots of great ones here from Manhattan and Brooklyn. Thanks. Lenny!

Philly Sticker Art
Ant seems to rule the Philly sticker scene -- at least on my latest trip! Cool and clever!

5Pointz, LIC
visited 5Pointz w/Lenny on Thursday for the first time since I returned from SP. 'glad that some of my favorite walls are still there -- including this one by the Yok and Creepy.

On the LES
'was back on the LES yesterday for the first time since returning from Sao Paulo. As my eyes were glued to the walls at eye-level, I could have easily missed this. Luckily Tara noticed it as we were walking east on Houston Street.

The Library @ Choque Cultural
So not only does Sao Paulo's Choque Cultural house some of my favorite artwork, but it also has an extensive library of not only dozens of books and magazines devoted to street art and graffiti, but a wide range of books and more on just about every art-related topic.

Early Os Gemeos in Sao Paulo @ night
By the time we reached the Os Gemeos neighborhood with Johab, it was so dark that it was difficult to see what was on the walls. Sara and I got a few shots, but I will definitely have to return there during daylight on future visits.

Sao Paulo Pixação
I'm endlessly fascinated by the writing that makes its way all over tall buildings. This is a close-up of a building I couldn't walk away from! I kept taking endless photos.

Sao Paulo Bombs
Sao Paulo has some of the most stylish bombs I've seen anywhere. Unfortunately I hit so many of them in the dark at night that it was difficult for me to document them.'would have loved to see them in daylight.

Sad Sao Paulo
Based in the center of town on this recent trip, I viewed directly the sad, sad side of Sao Paulo. This scene with folks sleeping/living on the streets -- right across from where we were sleeping in comfort -- is all too common. It's difficult to understand why so in such a wealthy country.

Cope in Sao Paulo
This is the second Cope throw-up I came upon in Sao Paulo! 'did a double-take again. But I hear from folks that Cope was here two years ago. Not all that many NYC writers seem to have made their way down there.

Urban Calligraphy in Sao Paulo
I've seen few graffiti pieces as stunning as this one -- anywhere. I love its colors, flow and rhythm. It's just about perfect!

Brooklyn Grafffiti
Lenny found a bunch of amazing walls in Bushwick earlier this week. Wow -- so old school graffiti is more than alive and well right here in NYC! And so stunning--

JR on Bowery and Houston
So Kenny Scharf's colorful cartoonish mural has been replaced by a rather staid JR piece. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I was astounded by JR's photos of Israelis and Palestinians that I saw along the separation wall outside Bethlehem. And the photos of his work in Brazil are amazing. Maybe I'm missing something here, but it's not really working for me.

Freight Train Spotted in the South Bronx
'did not expect to come upon this while walking from the Point on Garrison to the #6 train at Hunts Point Station. Just as I was getting ready to document about a dozen of them, they continued on their route. 'glad I got this one.

In the East Village
I think these adorable kids thought we were trying to photograph them -- rather than the door (a reasonable assumption.) And so they danced for us for about 10 minutes before we moved on!

KR.ONE @ L.I.C.K Gallery

Another Brooklyn Wall Captured by Lenny Collado
Lenny's got the graffiti-hunting bug. He's been finding hundreds of first-rate tags and bombs in Bushwick and beyond -- that will take me days to check out. But the walls that he's getting are just fun -- like this one by Shiro.

We must have spotted at least three LA ll tags on every block along Avenue D earlier today!
