I discovered this amazing exhibit of political art while walking up West 25th on my way to DFN. All of these are created on American flags by Aaron Johnson, a Brooklyn-based artist. The exhibit continues through October 18th @ Stefan Stux Gallery, 530 West 25th Street.

Always curious to see what's happening @ Deitch, I stopped by earlier this week and discovered this eerily stunning piece done with graphite and colored pencils. Every piece in this exhibit @ 76 Grand Street is engaging.
