Ben Finer in "The Piece Process"

'wanted to check out the exhibit at Anonymous Gallery once more before it closed. I could barely see anything at the opening. Today, of course, Tara and I had the place to ourselves. I discovered many intriguing pieces including this one by Ben Finer, who used acrylic on comic book newsprint to create a mesmerizing collage of images.

Nicholai Cerezo Khan, "The Human Element: Altier"

I will be installing these images, each 4" x 6", Tuesday afternoon at Hamilton Fish Park Branch, NYPL. Nicholai, who drew these with markers, is one of four artists participating in the exhibit.

Charly Palmer/Close-up @ MoCADA

'visited MoCADA to check out the exhibit "I Am a Man," So much of it fascinated me. I was especially glad to discover the artist Charly Palmer whose work particularly intrigued me. It continues through 1/19 @ 80 Hanson Place in Brooklyn.
