I noticed this character on that door on Rivington Street -- where I'd first discovered Swoon's work. Then we saw him pasted up in quite a few places while we were walking from Rivington over to Gallery 151 on the Bowery.

Sharp -- close up -- @ Gallery 151
'checked out the exhibit "Green Style" earlier this evening. Sharp's work mesmerized me -- as it often does. 'am curious about this -- as it's not the image I'd expect to see integrated into his wild-style graffiti. The only clue is the Hebrew "Aharon," as Sharp's name is Aaron Goodstone.
Spotted on the Upper West Side
Although there isn't much street art to be found in my neighborhood, I did spot these stickers along Broadway in the 70's while running errands these past few days.

We B*Girlz @ Lincoln Center, August, 2006
I just discovered a series of photos I took from a break-dancing event at Lincoln Center in August 2006. 'surprised to have them, as I almost never documented graffiti back then.

From Jason Mamarella's Black Book
'had a great time this afternoon checking out pages from Jason Mamarella's black books from the 90's. My intern, Moriah, especially loves Jason's characters. She scanned in quite a few of her favorites. This is among them. Thanks, Jason!

5Pointz, LIC
I finally had a chance to check out the photos that my son, Dani, took early last month at 5Pointz. This piece is my favorite. I love its wondrous flow and dynamic colors.
