After reading Ken Johnson's glowing New York Times review of MoMA's current exhibition of drawings, I rushed to see it. I was somewhat disappointed. The two Basquiat drawings are flat and not representative of his amazing body of work. I did enjoy Raymond Pettibon's pieces and discovered Ghariokwu Lemi, a Nigerian artist known for his political cartoons and album covers.
