I spent the morning in Philly's Old City. After lunch, Isaac and took a bus into North Philly. It was only a 20-minute bus ride, but a world apart from the galleries and bookstores of South 2nd Street. Teeming with extreme poverty and despair, the area is home to thousands of African-Americans and Latinos. Amidst were dozens of vibrant murals and installations.
